SHP have coordinated pre-application discussions and led the submission of planning and listed building consent applications on behalf of the client Playfair Hotels Ltd. The planning permission and LBC approvals were obtained in April 2025 for transforming the existing Category B listed Ardgowan and Pilmour hotels into a luxury boutique hotel in St Andrews, Fife. The proposals includes internal layout arrangements to connect the two hotels and erection of a three storey extension to the rear.
