SHP is pleased to announce our recent 2024 promotions!
Hugh Shepherd who joined the team last year as a Principal Planner is now promoted to Associate Director. Hugh has been leading on a range of projects across various sectors in Scotland and will continue to grow the business, with a focus on major urban brownfield redevelopment and renewable projects.
Varshini Gorjala is promoted to Senior Planner after having been worked with us since January 2022. Varshini has developed her planning skills in the last couple of years, working on variety of projects across Scotland and England, and is currently working towards gaining her RTPI chartered membership.
Niamh Toner is promoted to Planner, having joined SHP from Dundee University as an intern in May 2022. Niamh has provided valuable assistance to the team through a busy 2023/24 period, and has developed a strong commercial and practical awareness.
SHP Managing Director Paul Scott commented “We have closed out our latest financial year with growth in turnover of nearly a third, and Hugh, Varshini and Niamh have played an important role in this success. We look forward to building market share across our core sectors of specialist residential, mixed use, mainstream residential, commercial, life sciences and targeted renewables in 2024/5”.
