Scott Hobbs Planning (SHP) recently submitted a detailed planning application to Aberdeen City Council for a mixed used development comprising of ground floor commercial units and up to 100 beds of student accomodation for client; West Coast Estates.
Two buildings are proposed to be erected at the brownfield site at King Street, Aberdeen close to Aberdeen University’s King’s College. After a consultation event with the general public, the design has evolved to fit in with the local area, providing improved amenity for both students and neighbouring residents. Once developed the site will provide some of the most accessible student accommodation available to Aberdeen University students.
