SHP (Scott Hobbs Planning), working alongside McLaren, Murdoch & Hamilton Architects, have secured planning permission for the demolition of existing motor dealership and erection of new residential development comprising 57 flats. The site is located on the corner of Lanark Road and Craiglockhart Avenue, close to the Union Canal. The proposal involves the provision of 57 flats on a sustainable, urban brownfield site. The Development Management Sub Committee agreed that the proposal will enhance the streetscape, improve the pedestrian environment around the site and assist in creating a sense of place.
