Key considerations of the application include location within a Conservation Area; adjacent Listed Buildings; demolition of existing building; housing need; visual and residential amenity; planning obligations; ecology/biodiversity; transforming Nuneaton Project; loss of retail space.
SHP worked positively and proactively with the council and architect team. Involved amending design and negotiations with statutory consultees. Prepared the Planning Statement and submitted/managed the application process; reviewing all supporting documentation and working through amendments with Historic England and the council.
