The application for planning permission was submitted in July 2022 and was approved through Hearing committee in April 2023.
Key Issues: Adjacent to listed building and schedules monument, provision of active travel route through the site.
SHP was engaged in the pre-application enquiry, submission of planning application and liaising with City of Edinburgh Council through Committee and Hearing process until consent. SHP worked closely with project team, in preparing a Planning Statement, DDA compliant design evolution and contributing to providing justification against latest NPF4. Unanimous approval at Planning Committee following Hearing presentation.
