SHP provided strategic planning advice on application approach and planning policy framework. SHP worked closely with the project team in preparing the Planning Statement, reviewing the Design Statement, and other supporting documentation prepared by consultants recommended by SHP. Discussions with the council were handled sensitively and resulted in a posiitve Officer recommendational and Development Management Sub-Committee approval.
