SHP managed the pre-application preparation process which included a pre-application consultation exercise and EIAR Screening and Scoping exercise for major development comprising a distillery and visitor centre and associated works including warehouse storage building, energy centre for battery and hydrogen storage and solar farm development at Gearach Farm, Islay.
The application for planning permission, accompanied by an EIAR, was submitted in February 2022, with SHP leading the management of the application, which is currently under negotiation with and determination by Argyll and Bute Council
